Kuala Lampur

This was my first international trip. I took the fifteen day vacation trip with my husband and trip includes Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. It was one of the memorable trip, so want to share my experience with you.


How to get there

By Air


Kuala Lumpur international airport (KLIA) is very well connected to other countries. This airport located at the top of southern part of Peninsular. Situated in Sepang, which is almost 45 km far from the Kuala Lumpur.


The KLIA is designed using the innovative concept of "Airport in the Forest, Forest in the Airport". KLIA surrounded by green space.


By Bus

There is bus service from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur which takes almost 4-5 hours depend on traffic condition. There are a number of bus service providers so you can book your tickets in advance.



Tip to explore Kuala Lumpur
  • Most important tip you will face humid weather around the year so stay hydrated. 
  • If you are vegetarian or vegan than do find out restaurant prior to your visit. 
  • Do spare time to walk around and explore local stuffs by yourself. It will be so much fun.
  • If you are planning to visit the KL tower and the Petronas tower than do get your tickets booked in advance.
  • Batu cave is little bit far from the city so if you are planning to visit by yourself then check out transportation and timings. 
Places to visit in Kuala Lumpur

Batu caves:- 


While you are heading to Genting highland from Kuala Lumpur the road get through Batu Cave. It is 13Km far from Kuala Lumpur. Batu Caves is a limestone hill in which series of caves are there. There is huge statute of Murugan near the entrance of Batu Caves. Batu cave is almost 100ft above the ground. When you take the stairs to the Batu cave just be careful from the monkeys. And the yearly Thaipusam festival has been celebrated over here.

Kuala Lumpur is the federal capital and popular tourist destination in Malasia. Kuala Lumpur is also known as Klang Valley. The Malaysia king's official residence is in Kuala Lumpur. 






Istana Negara (Royal Museum):-

It is the official residence of the Malaysia king. The palace is a double story mansion and actually it was built by one of the Chinese millionaire names "Chan Wing".

You can see Heritage of Kuala Lumpur in this art gallery. As well as you can see wooden carving work. Even you can buy statues or frames, which made through carving. Here you will able to see the whole city of Kuala Lumpur with light and sound show of approx 5 mins it gives brief idea about the city.

Petronas Towers:-


Petronas twin tower has a height of 451.9 meters. It is a 88 story twin structure. Both towers connected to the Sky bridge.

KL Tower:-

KL tower Antenna reaches to 421 meters and roof is at 335 meters. There is an observation deck on KL tower and visit this tower at evening time so that you can see beautiful view of the evening and the lighting of the city at night. You can see the Petronas tower lighting very clearly. Even you can see Malaysian style village and houses over there.
